JULIAN ACTIVITY BOARD
All of the following activities are open to all individuals, free of charge. If you are interested in any of the following activities please call Jeff at (619)733-4330. We ask that all participants RSVP in order to insure that no one is left behind and that car-pooling is utilized whenever possible. You may also suggest activities and we will post them on the site for you.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
Our rides include Rancho Cuyamaca State Park, Anza Borrego Desert State Park, Laguna Mountain and the Cleveland National Forest. Rides range from easy, half day rides to the extreme full day rides for the experienced rider.
If you are from out of the area we can arrange arrange bike and equipment rentals with advance notice.
Upcoming Rides: Saturday June 25, 2011 8am - Cuyamaca State Park (Meet/Park at Highway 79/Yaqui Drive). Ride to be determined.
HIKING
Hiking through the backcountry also ranges from easy to extreme. Our most popular hikes include Stonewall Mine and Peak, Laguna Lake Loop, Blair Valley (Ghost Mountain and the Pictographs), Cedar Creek Falls and Three Sisters Waterfall. We also provide guided hikes along the Pacific Crest Trail as well as short hikes to local native Indian sites. Our hikes generally range from 4 to 6 hours. All guests should be prepared with adequate food and water.
GEO CACHING
Geo caching has become an extremely popular outdoor activity and can be included with either biking or hiking. The San Diego mountains and deserts have unlimited sites to find and visit.
FISHING
Lake Cuyamaca is a World Class trout and bass lake. Through the lake staff we can provide float tube, boat or shore fishing with our without guides. For more information on fishing Lake Cuyamaca please visit their site at: www.lakecuyamaca.org
YOGA / MEDITIATION
Transportation
Transportation is available on a limited, first come, first served basis. Our primary pick-up and drop-off service area is the Santa Fe Depot (train/trolley station) in downtown San Diego. Transportation can accommodate bicycles at no additional charge. The round trip fare is $19 per person.
Directions
Cuyamaca Loft is located above Lake Cuyamaca (10 miles south of Julian). From Highway 79 you will exit on at Yaqui Drive. Follow Yaqui Drive uphill 3/4 of a mile to Arrapahoe Drive. Take Arrapahoe Drive (a right at a "Y" intersection with Pima Trail) 1/8 mile to Apache Drive. on

Cuyamaca Loft offers Yoga and Meditation throughout the year. Please check our calendar for upcoming classes. In general, classes are offered on Sunday Nights 6pm and Tuesday Mornings. Additional times may be posted as well. Classes may be cancelled if schedule conflicts exist. You must RSVP for any/all Yoga or Meditiation class. Call Jeff at 619-733-4330
